Back on the risers

After an epic 707 days, we are finally back on our Risers. We have been so lucky to have continued singing during the past 2 years whether virtually, outside in the elements or socially distanced in church pews.

But there really is nothing like singing on our risers. The sound was like a big, heartfelt hug from a very dear, long lost friend. The metal risers are pretty hefty things to move around, put up and take down, but we have never been so keen to do all that heavy lifting.

There was such joy among the chorus. Just being able to stand next to each other and produce the sound we have missed so much was a real tonic.
