Festival First!

Vocal Dimension Chorus has notched up another success! The chorus travelled to Dorset on a very blustery day mid-June to compete in the Barbershop Class of the prestigious International Bournemouth Music Competition Festival.

The contest was held in The Pavilion Theatre with nine choruses from England, both male and female, taking part. Vocal Dimension was thrilled to take first place and to be proclaimed as “Outstanding” by the presiding judge, David Bruce-Payne.

The chorus was presented with the Roger Mills Cup for the Best Barbershop Choir – we’re looking forward to getting our first trophy engraved!
