We have just returned from the Region 31, Sweet Adelines
Convention held at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham. Being our
very first experience competing at such a prestigious event
we are thrilled to announce that we came away with a 2nd
place small chorus medal!

We took to the stage on Saturday afternoon looking superb in our sapphire blue and black costumes. Full of excitement, nerves and adrenaline our main aim was to enjoy our six minutes on stage and show everyone what we could do. It was a true honour to perform our two songs in such an amazing auditorium. Standing side by side we give it our all and although all over in a flash it was an experience we will never forget.

Being such a new Chorus we were stunned, amazed and totally overwhelmed to win 2nd place in the small chorus division and to each be presented with a
medal. We were placed 10th out of 24 in the overall competition as well which an another amazing feat for our very first time.
