Vocal Dimensions Quartets

Within Vocal Dimension we have several talented quartets.

A barbershop quartet is made up of the four voices that make the unique barbershop sound, tenor, lead, baritone and bass.

FourEffect Quartet

FourEffect Quartet (Anita Lead, Deb Bass, Lisa Tenor and Liz Baritone) first started singing together in Dec 2013. During their time together they have competed several times in the SAI Quartet competition and have entered other more local competitions including the Surrey Fringe. They regularly entertain various Surrey WI’s, the Friends of Chaldon Church (a charity to help maintain this ancient church), have sung at golf clubs, nursing homes, festivals and are booked for several Christmas sing-outs every year. They really enjoy entertaining with their “audience participation” package and have a lot of fun singing together.
 

Virtual Q

At a time when the world went a bit topsy turvey and the joy of live singing was temporarily halted, Jasmine (Tenor), Claire (Lead), Emma (Bari) and Fran (Bass) decided to embrace technology and learn and record a few songs virtually as a quartet.

Quite an unconventional way to start a quartet now things are back to normal they have continued to sing together and are very much enjoying performing, competing and expanding their repertoire..
