Show Time Concert 2016

We had the most wonderful evening at our ‘Show Time’ concert! The sell-out event was a resounding success, and it really was a magical experience performing favourite songs from our repertoire.

Vocal Dimension

The audience were treated to two full sets from Vocal Dimension, as well as songs from smaller groups of singers from the chorus. Our quartets - The Founding Four, FourEffect and The Hummingbirds - each sang a piece, as did a nonet, complete with beatboxer!

The astounding acoustics in St Mary’s Church, Reigate, are quite spectacular. It was a real joy to sing in such a beautiful venue! The evening was expertly steered by guest emcee, Mark Nicholson and the entertainment featured a wide range of fantastic music from an array of special acts. We were entertained by the toe-tapping and hugely dexterous sounds of Anarchy in the Uke, as well as an exciting set of original music by the immensely talented Abi F Jones and a collection of captivating songs from the stunning voice of Caitlin Craggs.

Our audience was, as ever, fantastically supportive and the night ended with a spontaneous standing ovation which simply took our breath away. We would like to thank everyone who made the evening such a success: all of our hardworking volunteers, our brilliant guest acts and all those who bought a ticket and came along to be entertained. It is times like this that we really do appreciate not only how wonderful our friends, family and supporters are, but also how lucky we are to be part of something so special!
