Christmas with Vocal Dimension 2022
Vocal Dimension always have a great time at Christmas with so many fun sing outs at such great places...
Christmas Together
It was a very chilly, icy evening but we had such a fabulously festive time at our Christmas Together concert. For the past 2 years we had to hold virtual Christmas concerts but there really is nothing like a real, in-person, event. It was such a lovely evening, made all the better with performances by the wonderful Include Choir.
Thank you to everyone who ventured out in the cold.
What a busy December
Throughout the month of December, we were delighted to sing at various events. There really is nothing better than spreading joy and merriment singing a few carols and Christmas favourites.
Firstly, we took a trip up to a very festive London for a spot of after dinner singing. It is always a lovely evening with a such fun and friendly audience - even if they are full of turkey and Christmas pud!
Later in the month we were so warmly welcomed by the lovely staff & residents at
Ridgegate Home. Such a special evening and so nice to be able to spread some festive cheer.
Our last Christmas event of the season was certainly a joyous and incredibly festive evening. The
Home Cottage pub in Redhill,
so welcoming with it's pretty, twinkly Christmas tree and warm open fire. We met
and entertained the most delightful and generous audience. It really was a very
merry and pretty wonderful Christmassy Monday!
Singing on the top of the O2
This year we ended up singing on top of the O2 not once but twice! Thankfully
the weather behaved itself both times and although it was very cold it was
clear, crisp and dry! The 5 layers of clothing & general festive merriment kept
our intrepid Carol singers warm and in high spirits whilst entertaining the
throngs of O2 climbers last night. The hosts, Up at The O2, looked after us so
well. And let's be honest, spending 3 hours overlooking the stunning London
skyline & singing lots of our favourite Christmas songs has to be a pretty
extraordinary way to spend a December night!
Party time
We have certainly worked hard this Christmas season but we have also had the most wonderful time. We ended our year with a VDC Christmas party. And we certainly know how to party... delicious, homemade food, a few glasses of something chilled, music, games, annual awards, lots of thank you's
and of course a bit of singing. A great evening was had by all!
Please check our diary pages to see where we are
singing next and come along!
